Dubai’s Global Village New Year celebrations will offer a one-of-a-kind experience as the popular destination rings in 2026 seven times in one night. The special event will feature seven countdowns, each representing a different country, making it one of the most unique New Year celebrations in the UAE.
On New Year’s Eve, Global Village Dubai will open its three main gates with extended hours from 4pm until 2am. Visitors will be able to enjoy fireworks and drone shows timed to match New Year celebrations across the world. The first countdown will begin with China at 8pm, followed by Thailand at 9pm and Bangladesh at 10pm. India will be celebrated at 10.30pm, Pakistan at 11pm, Dubai at midnight, and Turkey at 1am.
The Global Village New Year event will combine dazzling fireworks with coordinated drone shows, creating stunning visuals in the sky throughout the night. Each countdown will highlight a different culture, giving guests a chance to experience global traditions in one location.
Alongside the celebrations, visitors can enjoy live DJ performances on the Main Stage. Guests can also explore more than 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures. There are more than 3,500 shopping outlets and over 250 dining options, offering flavours from around the world.
The entertainment destination will be open exclusively to women and families on the night. Guests can also visit popular attractions such as the Floating Market, Happiness Street, Fiesta Street and Dessert District. With over 200 rides and games at Carnaval and new attractions like Dragon Kingdom and Gardens of the World, the night promises fun for all ages.
