Global Food Week 2025 kicked off in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The event, taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), will run until 23rd October 2025 and features participation from 75 countries.

This year’s Global Food Week 2025 highlights Abu Dhabi’s growing role as a global centre for food security, sustainability, and agriculture innovation. The exhibition space has expanded by 15%, hosting over 2,000 companies and brands. Emirati participation is strong, with 1,055 national companies representing 51% of all participants. Around 543 companies are taking part for the first time, showing the event’s increasing global appeal.

Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, said the event reflects the UAE’s commitment to building sustainable and resilient food systems. She stressed that innovation, technology, and strong partnerships are key to achieving food security and adapting to climate change.

New features this year include the AgriTech Forum, Agricultural Investment Forum, and Alternative Proteins Pavilion. These platforms promote smart farming, new technologies, and global investment in agriculture.

Officials said the event supports Abu Dhabi’s vision to become a leading hub for food innovation and sustainable development. It connects experts, investors, and innovators from around the world to discuss challenges and create solutions for a secure and sustainable food future.
