Dubai Airport Launches ‘Red Carpet’, World’s First Passport-Free Departure Corridor

Red Carpet passport-free departure corridor at Dubai’s Terminal 3 is now open to travellers. This world-first technology lets you leave without showing your passport, boarding pass, or stopping at any checkpoint. It is fast, safe, and totally automated.

This smart corridor uses biometric match and AI combined with pre-verified flight data, to confirm your identity and exit eligibility as you walk through. There’s no need to stop or hand over documents.

Currently, the service is only for departures at Terminal 3, but officials say it will soon expand to arrivals and other terminals.
