Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in the Republic of Korea to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum. He is representing President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the major regional event.
The visit reflects the UAE’s strong commitment to strengthening international economic cooperation. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi will join global leaders to discuss trade, investment, and sustainable growth among Asia-Pacific economies.
The participation of the UAE follows an invitation from South Korean President Lee Jae-myung. The forum provides an important platform for the UAE to explore new partnerships, promote regional stability, and enhance collaboration in key economic sectors such as technology, energy, and innovation.
The APEC Forum, founded in 1989, brings together 21 member economies that represent about 40 percent of the world’s population and nearly 60 percent of global GDP. It aims to advance free trade, encourage investment, and drive sustainable development.
The UAE’s involvement highlights its growing role in shaping global economic policies and promoting cooperation between nations. Through its participation, the country continues to support open trade and shared prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
