The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the hostile drone attacks launched by Iran targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, describing the incident as a dangerous escalation and a violation of ongoing regional ceasefire understandings.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said the attacks constituted a flagrant violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty and posed a serious threat to the country’s security, stability, and the wider Gulf region.

The ministry also expressed concern that the drone strikes undermine recent diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and maintaining the fragile ceasefire atmosphere in the region following weeks of heightened instability.

The UAE reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and stressed its support for all measures aimed at safeguarding Bahrain’s national security and territorial integrity.

Officials warned that continued violations and hostile military actions risk further destabilizing the region and could negatively impact broader efforts to restore calm through diplomatic channels.

The statement emphasized the importance of restraint, dialogue, and respect for international law to prevent further escalation across the Gulf.

No immediate details were released regarding casualties or material damage resulting from the reported drone attacks.
