Google Gemini Pro free subscription is now available for university students in the UAE, thanks to a new collaboration between Google and the UAE government. This initiative supports the UAE’s National AI Strategy, which aims to prepare youth for an AI-driven future.
Under this offer, eligible students aged 18 and above can register for a Google Gemini Pro free subscription using their personal email accounts until December 9, 2025. The program gives them access to Google’s most advanced AI tools for one year.
The Gemini 2.5 Pro plan includes several innovative features. Students will get access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s most capable AI model for research and creative work. The Deep Research tool helps summarize and analyze information from multiple online sources. NotebookLM assists in organizing notes, documents, and summaries. Students can also use Veo 3 to generate short, creative videos using text or image prompts. Additionally, the plan offers 2 TB of cloud storage for study materials, photos, and files.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, said this step reflects the country’s commitment to developing AI skills among students. Google’s MENA Managing Director Anthony Nakache added that searches about AI and education in the UAE have increased by 110% this year, showing strong student interest in learning with AI tools.
This partnership aims to empower students, enhance creativity, and prepare them for future careers shaped by artificial intelligence. It represents a key step in building a skilled, AI-ready generation across the UAE.
