Sharjah Noble Quran Award

The Sharjah Noble Quran Award has officially started its final rounds at the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. This year, 332 finalists are competing across all categories of the award.

The competition includes 158 male and 174 female participants. The ten-day event is organized with morning sessions for female contestants and evening sessions for male contestants. The Establishment prepared special testing halls, online registration, and transparent monitoring to ensure fairness.

The award categories cover the Holy Quran at different age levels, Imams and Quran memorisers, mothers who have memorised the Quran, and the most beautiful Quranic recitation. New this year is a Recitations category at the Emirate level, showing the award’s growth and adaptation to participant needs.

Specialised judging committees, made of highly qualified experts, evaluate contestants on memorisation, recitation, and performance. Their work ensures that results are fair, accurate, and transparent.

His Excellency Sultan Matar bin Dalmouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment, said the 28th Sharjah Noble Quran Award is a major milestone. The competition received 1,314 participants this year. Only the top 332 qualified for the final rounds.

The award also strengthens Quranic culture in Sharjah. It spreads the knowledge of the Holy Quran and Prophetic Sunnah. The Establishment aims to encourage learning and promote Islamic values of moderation and balance.

The Sharjah Noble Quran Award continues to inspire all participants and the community. It supports education, memorisation, and the love of the Quran for all ages.
