Residents in the UAE can expect a partly cloudy day with a chance of light rains on the eastern coast, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The weather department has forecasted spells of rainfall over the coming days, bringing relief from the scorching summer heat.
On Tuesday, August 20, low clouds will appear in the eastern areas, resulting in light rainfall. While the eastern coast can expect rain, most residents in the UAE will experience a partly cloudy day with cloudy skies at times over southern and eastern areas.
In a similar weather pattern, light rains were scattered over the eastern parts of the country on Monday, with some roads in Fujairah experiencing rainfall.
Temperatures will soar up to 47ºC in internal areas, while the mountains will experience a relatively cooler temperature of 26ºC. Light to moderate winds will blow across the country, causing dust and sand in northern and eastern areas.
The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
