Residents across the UAE should brace for humid conditions on Friday, August 16, with the humidity likely to extend into Saturday morning, potentially leading to fog or mist formation in some internal and coastal areas.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts a generally fair day, though it may turn partly cloudy at times. Low clouds are anticipated along the eastern coast in the morning, contributing to the area’s cloudiness.
Temperatures are expected to peak at 44ºC in Abu Dhabi and 43ºC in Dubai, with cooler conditions in the mountains, where the mercury may drop to as low as 23ºC.
Light to moderate winds, occasionally freshening, are expected to sweep across the country, possibly causing dust in certain areas.
The sea conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea is expected to be slight to moderate, with a chance of becoming rough by Saturday morning.
Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts, especially if planning outdoor activities.
