During the opening session of the 10th Ministerial Meeting of the China Arab States Cooperation Forum in Beijing, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, reiterated the commitment of the United Arab Emirates to enhance Arab Chinese cooperation.
The Forum, attended by His Excellency President Xi Jinping, Arab leaders and senior officials, will seek to strengthen cooperation and address common challenges.
In his address, Sheikh Mohamed expressed gratitude to President Xi for hosting the event and praised the efforts behind its organization. In order to face global challenges, he underlined the importance of unity and international cooperation, and stressed the importance of these efforts for progress and prosperity.

In the context of growing tensions in the Middle East, especially with regard to humanitarian crises in Gaza, the President of the United Arab Emirates has pointed out that this forum is an important element.
He’s calling for an immediate truce, protection for Gaza’s civilians, and the flow of humanitarian aid.
Sheikh Mohamed underlined the need for a just and complete peace, underpinned by two states’ solutions.
Emphasizing that both China and Arab countries are committed to strengthening cooperation, Sheikh Mohamed stressed the distinction of their relationship. He is confident that the outcome of the Forum will contribute to strengthening coordination and facilitating continuous cooperation.
Upon his arrival, Sheikh Mohammed and President Xi posed for an official photograph and took part in a group photo with other delegation leaders. Several dignitaries from the United Arab Emirates, including His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy President of Abu Dhabi, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied Sheikh Mohamed.
Key figures from different sectors, taking into account the broad scope of discussions between the two countries, have also been submitted by the United Arab Emirates delegation. The visit of Sheikh Mohammed underlines the strategic intention of the United Arab Emirates to strengthen its relations and cooperation with China, with a view to mutual growth and development.
