UAE Gold Rates Today have moved higher across all major gold categories on August 17, 2026. The morning rates show clear gains compared with yesterday. At the same time, UAE money exchange rates for the Indian rupee, Pakistani rupee, and Bangladeshi taka remain unchanged.

UAE Gold Rates on August 17

The UAE gold market opened higher on Monday. The 24-carat gold rate reached Dh531.00 per gram in the morning. Yesterday, it was Dh527.50. This means the price increased by Dh3.50 per gram.

The 22-carat gold rate also gained. It stands at Dh491.75 per gram, compared with Dh488.50 yesterday. This is an increase of Dh3.25 per gram.

Meanwhile, 21-carat gold is priced at Dh471.50 per gram. Yesterday’s rate was Dh468.25. Therefore, buyers are now paying Dh3.25 more per gram.

The 18-carat gold rate reached Dh404.25 per gram. It was Dh401.50 yesterday. This shows a rise of Dh2.75 per gram.

For 14-carat gold, the morning rate is Dh315.25 per gram. Yesterday’s price was Dh313.00. The rate has therefore increased by Dh2.25 per gram.

These figures show that all listed gold categories started the day higher. Afternoon and evening rates were not available at the time of the morning update.

UAE Money Exchange Rates

The UAE money exchange rates for major South Asian currencies remained stable on August 17.

The Indian rupee rate is 25.85 INR per Dh1. The listed exchange value is Dh38.68 for 1,000 Indian rupees. Both figures are unchanged from yesterday.

The Pakistani rupee is also steady. The rate stands at 75.68 PKR per Dh1. The value for 1,000 Pakistani rupees is Dh13.21. There has been no change from the previous day.

The Bangladeshi taka has also held steady. The rate is 33.30 BDT per Dh1. For 1,000 Bangladeshi taka, the exchange value is Dh30.03. Yesterday’s figures were the same.

Gold Prices Show Clear Gains

The latest UAE gold rates suggest stronger morning prices across the market. The biggest increase among the listed categories was recorded by 24-carat gold, which gained Dh3.50 per gram.

The 22-carat rate is also important for jewellery buyers. At Dh491.75 per gram, it has moved above the Dh490 level seen recently.

However, buyers should remember that gold prices can change during the day. Afternoon and evening rates may be different from the morning figures.
