The first edition of the Sharjah Literature Festival (SLF) has officially launched. It is under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. His Excellency Rashid Al Kous, Executive Director of the Emirates Publishers Association, announced the event. Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority and Honorary President of the Emirates Publishers Association graced the event with her presence.
Emirati Tales at Sharjah Literature Festival
With the theme “Emirati Tales Inspire the Future,” the festival promises an enriching experience. Over 40 UAE-based publishing houses are participating. Alongside them, there are more than 20 cultural seminars, poetry readings, and musical performances. Visitors can also enjoy interactive programs, activities, and events that engage audiences of all ages.
