In celebration of Eid Al Adha, the Sharjah Municipality has officially announced free public parking across the city from Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, 2025. This thoughtful move under the Sharjah free parking Eid 2025 initiative is designed to ease transportation during the holiday rush and bring added relief to families and visitors spending time in the city.
Whether you’re shopping, visiting loved ones, or heading to Eid gatherings, this gesture makes it easier to move around without worrying about parking tickets.
Blue Zones Still Paid – Check the Signs
However, not all parking areas are included. Seven-day paid zones, which are clearly marked with blue information signs, will continue to follow regular payment rules. Motorists are advised to double-check signage before leaving their vehicles to avoid fines.
This ensures that high-demand commercial areas maintain turnover and availability for all.
Temporary Closures of Public Services
During the same holiday period, medical fitness centers and the veterinary clinic in Al Jubail will remain closed from June 6 to June 8. These closures are part of the city’s official Eid schedule and allow staff and workers time to observe the occasion with their families.
Enjoy Extended Park Timings This Eid
To encourage outdoor celebrations and family time, Sharjah has extended the opening hours for several public parks:
- Sharjah National Park, Rolla Square Park, Green Belt Ladies Park, and Al Suyoh Parks will be open from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM.
- Neighborhood parks will operate from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Whether you prefer a peaceful walk or a fun evening picnic, these parks offer the perfect setting to unwind during the festive days.
A Community-Friendly Initiative
The Sharjah free parking Eid 2025 plan highlights the city’s commitment to community happiness and hassle-free public services. Stay connected with the Sharjah Municipality’s official website and social platforms for more updates on Eid-related facilities and timings.
