Emirates to launch Airbus A350 flights to Australia

Emirates will launch its first long-range Airbus A350 flights to Australia, starting December 1, 2025.
Adelaide will be the first city to welcome the new Airbus A350-900ULR.
The aircraft can fly over 15 hours non-stop, covering a range of more than 14,000 kilometers.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement about the announcement.
“Deploying our first long-range A350 to Adelaide is a significant milestone,” he said.
He further added that Australia remains a vital eastbound hub for Emirates’ global operations.
Moreover, he highlighted that passengers can expect an upgraded, world-class travel experience.

Emirates Expands Fleet with Upgraded Aircraft

In addition to the A350 launch, Emirates is expanding its fleet with refurbished Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s.
This expansion demonstrates the airline’s commitment to offering a consistent premium experience across its network.

Starting soon, the airline will deploy its refreshed Airbus A380s on the following routes:

  • Bangkok: Flights EK372/373 will feature the upgraded A380 starting July 1, 2025.
  • Hong Kong: EK380/381 will operate with the retrofitted A380 beginning October 1, 2025.
  • Nice: Premium Economy service will debut on flights EK077/078 starting October 15, 2025.
  • Perth: Emirates will serve EK420/421 flights with the new A380 from October 26, 2025.

Similarly, Emirates will introduce upgraded Boeing 777s on these routes:

  • Madrid: EK143/144 will feature new Boeing 777 interiors starting October 15, 2025.
  • Kuala Lumpur: Flights EK346/347 will operate with retrofitted Boeing 777s from October 15, 2025.
  • Frankfurt: Daily EK043/044 flights will welcome the upgraded Boeing 777 from December 15, 2025.
  • Phuket: Emirates will launch refreshed Boeing 777 services on EK396/397 from December 1, 2025.
  • Dublin: A second retrofitted Boeing 777 will join operations from December 1, 2025.

Focus on Premium Economy Expansion

Furthermore, Emirates is accelerating its Premium Economy rollout across major global markets.
Adnan Kazim stated, “By the end of this year, Emirates will lead the industry in Premium Economy services.”

He continued, “Over the next two years, we will strengthen our leadership in Premium Economy offerings.”
According to him, this move gives travelers more choices and elevates the premium flying experience.

Future Plans: Emirates’ Long-Haul Airbus A350s

By the end of 2025, Emirates plans to receive five new Airbus A350 aircraft for long-haul missions.
Each A350 will feature 32 Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout.
Additionally, there will be 28 Premium Economy seats and 238 Economy Class seats with extra comfort.

In conclusion, Emirates is set to redefine long-haul flying with new aircraft, upgraded cabins, and expanded premium offerings.
