Allu Arjun celebrated his 43rd birthday by announcing his upcoming film, tentatively titled AA 22 X A6. The movie will be directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures.
On Tuesday, Sun Pictures shared an Instagram post confirming the much-anticipated project. This ended months of speculation about the actor’s next film.
The announcement read, “Gear up for the Landmark Cinematic Event.” It included a video featuring Allu Arjun and Atlee meeting Sun Pictures head Kalanithi Maran. The video also showed the duo flying to top VFX studios in the United States. This hinted at the film’s grand scale.
Earlier that day, the Pushpa star celebrated his birthday with family and friends. His wife, Sneha Reddy, posted a picture on Instagram. In the photo, Allu Arjun is cutting a cake, while Sneha, their daughter Arha, and son Ayaan stand beside him.
Sneha often shares family moments on social media. For instance, in January, during Sankranti, she posted a sweet family photo. The post wished followers a “Happy Sankranti #2025.” The picture showed Allu Arjun, Sneha, and their children smiling in traditional attire.
The actor has had an eventful year. His film Pushpa 2: The Rule broke multiple box office records. Released in December, the movie, directed by Sukumar, featured Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj. It also starred Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil.
Known for hits like Arya, Race Gurram, and Sarrainodu, Allu Arjun continues to win fans nationwide. His performance in Pushpa: The Rise earned him the National Award for Best Actor.
