Dubai’s Ruler and UAE Vice-President announced the results of the national bureaucracy reduction initiative on Sunday. The announcement highlighted the best and worst-performing government departments, marking a significant step toward enhancing public service efficiency.

Departments were evaluated based on their performance over the past year, following the launch of the initiative in late 2023.

Notably, Emirates Post, the Pensions Authority, and the Ministry of Sports were ranked as the worst-performing entities in reducing bureaucracy. Their inefficiencies continue to disrupt public service delivery and cause dissatisfaction among users. Consequently, they face increased scrutiny and demands for improvement.

Furthermore, the Vice-President emphasized the importance of accountability in government operations. He urged all departments to learn from the top performers and implement best practices.
