The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025 officially begins today, marking the start of a dynamic two-day event. This festival is set to revolutionize innovation and foster collaboration across the region.
Spanning 10 specially designed Zones and 5 stages, SEF 2025 offers over 300 speakers from 45 countries. It will also feature 150 startup pods and 320 investor meetings. In addition, attendees can participate in more than 250 activities, including 45 workshops and masterclasses. Moreover, 7 captivating performances will take place, making the event even more exciting.
The theme “Where We Belong” highlights the power of community and the drive for innovation. SEF 2025 aims to connect the global entrepreneurial ecosystem. Over 12,000 passionate participants are expected in Sharjah, making it the center of entrepreneurial energy and creativity.
Organized by Sheraa, SEF 2025 takes place at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP) from February 1-2, 2025. As the region’s largest entrepreneurial gathering, SEF continues to reflect the leadership of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi. Sheraa’s mission is to empower entrepreneurs to turn challenges into opportunities.

Alia Bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of State for Entrepreneurship; Sheikha Hoor bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Sharjah Art Foundation; HRH Princess Lamia Bint Majed Saud AlSaud, humanitarian advocate; football legend Thierry Henry; extreme athlete Wim Hof; Ann Hiatt, former advisor to Jeff Bezos; and Mo Gawdat, ex-Chief Business Officer of Google X. These influential leaders will inspire attendees with insights that challenge the status quo and fuel cross-sector innovation.
The ‘Investors Lounge’ will facilitate 320 personalized meetings between startup founders and potential investors. Additionally, the ‘Startup Pitch Competition,’ in partnership with 1Tank and 1trepreneur, offers entrepreneurs the chance to compete for AED 200,000 in prizes. An additional AED 500,000 is available from investors.

Furthermore, an exciting series of live performances will include Canadian duo ‘Music Travel Love,’ Egyptian artist ‘Hamza Namira,’ and Kuwaiti rap group ‘Sons of Yusuf.’
