The NCM has warned people in the UAE about a tropical storm in the northeast of the Arabian Sea.
The weather department predicts that the storm, moving at a speed of 7kmph, will persist over the next 48 hours, causing indirect impacts on the country.
The NCM stated that wind speeds, currently between 60 to 70 kmph, might increase to 80 kmph in the next 48 hours.
As per the meteorological department, there is a possibility of precipitation in the eastern and southern parts because of clouds coming in from the Arabian Sea.
The Oman Sea and Arabian Gulf may experience rough conditions, with possible elevated sea levels on certain eastern coast beaches during high tide on Sunday and Monday.
