The Khor Fakkan Mango Festival 2025 will take place from June 27 to June 29 at Expo Khor Fakkan. This is the fourth edition of the event, where visitors can enjoy a wide selection of delicious, locally grown mangoes.
More than just a fruit fair, the festival celebrates the UAE’s farming success and honors hardworking local farmers who supply high-quality mangoes across the region.
Mangoes are a favorite summer fruit in the UAE. Every year, residents head to markets in search of the sweetest mangoes — often visiting stalls multiple times a week just to find the perfect box.
Who Is Organising the Festival?
The event is organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with planning led by Khalil Al Mansouri, Director of Government Relations. In a recent committee meeting, he emphasized the importance of promoting UAE-grown produce and encouraging more participation from local farmers.
The goal is not only to celebrate mangoes but to support sustainable agriculture and boost the UAE’s position in the regional fruit market.
Mango Prices and Varieties in UAE
A recent market report showed a wide variety of mangoes available in the UAE at different price points:

Yemeni Mango – Dh10 per kg (most affordable)

Alphonso Mango – Dh45 per box (12 large mangoes), Dh35–40 (15 medium mangoes)

Peruvian Mango – Dh35 per kg or Dh90–110 per box (4–5 kg, large size)

Colombian Mini Mango – Dh90–100 per box (rare, exotic – available at Dubai’s Waterfront Market)

Community Activities and Farming Workshops
The festival will also host workshops for farmers on sustainable farming, better yield techniques, and quality improvements.
Mohammed Khalfan AlNaqbi, a member of the Khor Fakkan Municipal Council, shared that the event will feature competitions, expert sessions, and fun activities to keep the community engaged.
