Supermodel Gigi Hadid has sincerely thanked fans for respecting her decision to keep daughter Khai’s face off social media. Since Khai’s birth, Hadid and her former partner, Zayn Malik, have consistently prioritized their child’s privacy.
Recently, Hadid shared photos on Instagram showing Khai enjoying small moments, like riding a bike and tracing letters. However, none of the images revealed her face. This approach once again gained support from her followers.
One particular comment caught Gigi’s eye: “Even without showing her face, we can feel how loved and special Khai is.” In response, Gigi replied warmly, “This means a lot :).” Earlier in 2021, Gigi publicly explained their privacy stance in a heartfelt Instagram Story. At the time, she clarified that she and Zayn never intended to share Khai’s face online.
She wrote, “Our hope is that she can choose how she shares herself with the world when she’s older.” Moreover, Gigi requested media and photographers to blur Khai’s face in public photos.
Especially during outings in New York City, she asked for extra care in protecting Khai’s image. She added, “I know it takes effort, but all parents want what’s best for their kids.”
Despite maintaining privacy, Gigi occasionally offers glimpses into her life as a mother. For instance, she recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
During the interview, Gigi shared a lighthearted story about a family visit to Medieval Times in New Jersey. She said, “Khai got very into it,” and added that her daughter loved the chicken served there.
“She ate so much chicken!” Gigi laughed, offering a rare personal moment from her life as a mom.
