Additionally, people are advised to steer clear of valley bottoms, water pools, and dams, as these areas pose a high risk of flooding.
Severe Weather to Continue Until Friday
According to forecasts, the heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected to last until Friday. The extreme weather conditions are not limited to Makkah and Asir but will also impact Riyadh, Najran, Jazan, Al Baha, and the Eastern Province. Strong winds and hailstorms may further worsen the situation, increasing the likelihood of disruptions in these areas.

Authorities have emphasized the importance of following safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure public safety. They have advised residents to remain indoors as much as possible and avoid crossing flooded roads or low-lying areas.
