As part of an ongoing campaign, UAE Police have deployed more patrols near mosques. They are enforcing strict penalties on violators.
Motorists parking irresponsibly—blocking roads, using sidewalks, or obstructing vehicles—face heavy fines and black points. These violations create major traffic disruptions.
Parking in the middle of the road results in a Dh1,000 fine and six black points. Blocking another vehicle leads to a Dh500 fine.
Similarly, parking at intersections, curbs, or sidewalks incurs a Dh500 fine. Additionally, illegally parked vehicles may be towed, causing further inconvenience and penalties.
Captain Al Raisi emphasized that this campaign enhances public safety. It also ensures smooth traffic flow, especially during peak prayer times.
Sharjah Police Intensify Traffic Management for Ramadan Prayers
To handle increased traffic, Sharjah Police have deployed extra patrols near mosques. Officers are stationed at key locations to prevent illegal parking.
During pre-dawn Tahajjud prayers, patrols monitor traffic closely. Their goal is to maintain order and ensure pedestrian safety.
Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour reaffirmed their commitment to strict enforcement. Motorists violating parking laws or blocking traffic will face fines, he warned.
“Our priority is smooth traffic flow and public safety,” Dr. Ahmed stated. Officers work to create a peaceful environment for worshippers.
Sharjah Police also urged worshippers to arrive early and use designated parking areas. This helps reduce congestion near mosques.
Fujairah Police Strengthen Traffic Control Measures
Similarly, Fujairah Police have increased patrols around mosques. They aim to regulate traffic, prevent congestion, and ensure pedestrian safety.
Authorities across the UAE continue taking proactive measures. Their focus remains on responsible parking and road safety near places of worship.
