Ukraine seeks Trump’s support For minerals sharing deal

Ukraine

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky remains ready to sign a minerals-sharing deal. However, he clashed with US leaders. He stressed that President Trump’s support is essential.

Zelensky confirmed his readiness on social media. He stated, “We are ready to sign the minerals agreement.” Moreover, he described it as the first step toward security guarantees. Thus, Ukraine plans to boost its defense and diplomatic efforts.

In addition, Ukraine relies on the minerals deal for a US-brokered truce. Consequently, this agreement may pave the way for lasting peace. Furthermore, Ukraine President Zelensky thanked many allies for their support. He expressed gratitude in individual replies to supportive messages.

European leaders also backed Ukraine strongly. For example, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said, “You are not alone.” Similarly, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer promised unwavering support. Likewise, Italian and Canadian officials voiced strong backing for Kyiv. Therefore, international unity remains critical.

Meanwhile, the White House meeting escalated quickly. Trump and Vice President JD Vance sharply criticized Zelensky. In addition, Trump tweeted that Zelensky may return when he is ready for peace. This public dispute shocked many observers.

At the same time, Zelensky mentioned that his ties with the US can still be repaired. He noted that Ukraine needs US help to fight Russian forces. Additionally, he warned against any compromises with Russian aggression. Thus, the minerals deal holds high importance for Ukraine’s future.

Moreover, Zelensky admitted that the political row affected him personally. He wished that the meeting had not unfolded before reporters. Nevertheless, he insisted that Ukraine’s goals remain clear.

Furthermore, Russian forces continue their offensive near Ukraine. For instance, infantry advanced from the Kursk region. Consequently, Ukraine faces both political and military challenges.

Overall, Ukraine remains committed to its security and sovereignty. Therefore, Zelensky will sign the minerals-sharing deal soon. In conclusion, he expects President Trump’s support to spark lasting peace. Ultimately, the agreement may help secure Ukraine’s future while strengthening international alliances.
