Over the past three days, visitors have enjoyed unique cultural experiences, including book fairs, food, and shopping. These offerings highlight Sharjah’s role as a cultural capital where heritage meets modernity.

The festival aims to connect generations, using art and creativity as tools to inspire future aspirations. Attendees can expect more engaging activities today and tomorrow.

At the square near University City Hall, literature comes alive through rich dialogues, seminars, and meetings with renowned writers and thinkers. Simultaneously, melodies from qanun, oud, saxophone, and piano create a captivating musical atmosphere.

Engaging Dialogue Sessions at Sharjah Literature Festival

The seminar “Imagination Nation: Emirati Children’s Literature and the Future Makers” featured writers Badriya Al Shamsi and Fatima Al Mazrouei, discussing how children’s literature fosters national values.

The session “UAE Through Arab Eyes: Book Launch” unveiled a book highlighting Arab thinkers’ perspectives on the UAE’s development.

In “Pages of Wonder: Children’s Books as an Educational Tool,” Dr. Nadia Al Najjar and Fatima Al Amri explored the importance of children’s books in education.

Stories of UAE’s Rich Past

Emirati writer Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam shared tales of the UAE’s land and sea history during the session “Treasures of the Gulf: Stories of Land and Sea.”

Dr. Ibrahim Galadari discussed his autobiography, “Memoirs of an Emirati Doctor,” in “Paths of Life: Exploring the World of Autobiographies.” Additionally, Hamad Bin Sarai and Dr. Saif Al Bedwawi examined UAE’s historical evolution in “Footprints of History: Rediscovering Emirati Eras.”
