Sharjah Police have recovered nearly Dh33 million in 2024 through their “Peace is Goodness” initiative, as announced on Tuesday. This programme has proven instrumental in resolving financial disputes amicably and fostering reconciliation among conflicting parties.
The initiative facilitated the return of Dh32,943,920 to rightful owners via friendly agreements. It successfully resolved 874 cases without resorting to legal actions.
Colonel Youssef Obaid bin Harmoul, Deputy Director-General of the General Administration of Comprehensive Police Centres, highlighted the programme’s effectiveness. He described it as a model for out-of-court dispute resolution. Furthermore, he underscored its role in safeguarding rights and nurturing ties between parties.
