Indian expatriate Manu Mohanan has won the Dh30 million grand prize in the latest Big Ticket raffle draw.
Living in Bahrain, Manu held ticket number 535948, which turned out to be the jackpot winner. He received this lucky ticket as a free coupon through Big Ticket’s “Buy Two, Get One Free” offer on December 26.
During a live call from the draw, the hosts announced Manu’s incredible victory, leaving him stunned. He repeatedly asked, “Really?” to confirm the news. Manu explained that he purchased the ticket with a group of 16 friends.
“We’ve been buying tickets together for over five years,” he shared with excitement. A nurse by profession, Manu has been residing in Bahrain for seven years. He expressed immense gratitude for the life-changing win.
The draw, held on Friday at 7:30 PM, marked a historic moment for Big Ticket. Host Richard pulled Manu’s name from the raffle drum, announcing the largest prize of the year.
Richard was assisted by Indian expatriate Aravind Appukuttan, who had won Dh25 million last month. Aravind selected the winning card from a set handed to him by the host.
Adding to the excitement, Pakistani expatriate Shakirullah Khan won a luxury Series 13 Maserati Ghibli. Holding ticket number 031944, he emerged as the lucky winner of the dream car draw.

Looking ahead, Big Ticket will offer another grand prize of Dh25 million in January. Additionally, weekly draws will award Dh1 million to one lucky participant throughout the month.
