The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, in collaboration with the Sharjah Volunteer Centre, has introduced the innovative initiative, “12 Challenges in 12 Months.” The program’s first challenge for January, titled “Best Volunteer Idea,” invites participants to submit creative volunteer concepts aimed at sustainable community development.
Promoting Volunteer Culture in Sharjah
This initiative seeks to encourage individuals and organizations to explore unique approaches to volunteerism. By fostering creativity, it aims to inspire impactful projects that align with the principles of sustainable development and social responsibility.
The program also strives to spread the culture of volunteerism across all segments of society. It provides an interactive platform for community members to harness their energy and creativity in meaningful ways. By embedding volunteerism as a core societal value, the initiative emphasizes the importance of community participation in building a better future.
Monthly Challenges with Purpose
A key feature of this initiative is its monthly challenges, each accompanied by a unique name and hashtag. These challenges encourage non-competitive community engagement, fostering a spirit of dedication, giving, and collaboration.
Both organizing parties urge community members to participate in January’s challenge by submitting innovative volunteer ideas. These ideas should not only contribute to societal well-being but also inspire others to embrace the culture of volunteerism.
