Confirmation of Reopening of Ain Dubai
A customer care representative confirmed that Ain Dubai held a “soft launch” on December 25. “It is now fully operational,” the representative said.
Although Dubai Holding operates the observation wheel, it has not issued a formal reopening statement. However, the website no longer displays a closure notice. Instead, it highlights ticketing details and ride options.
Operating Hours and Ride Experience
It operates from:
Tuesday to Friday: 12 PM to 9 PM
Weekends: 11 AM to 9 PM
Each ride lasts around 38 minutes and offers breathtaking 360-degree views of Dubai’s skyline. Moreover, the wheel’s 48 spacious cabins can accommodate up to 1,750 people at a time.
Standing 250 meters tall, it towers over the city. It is 82 meters taller than the High Roller in Las Vegas, cementing its place as a world-class attraction.
Prime Location of Ain Dubai
Located on Bluewaters Island near Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR), Ain Dubai first opened on October 21, 2021.
However, it announced closure in March 2022, initially planning to reopen during Eid Al Fitr. After facing delays, the reopening was postponed to Q1 2023 and later “until further notice.” Now, the long wait is finally over.
Visitors Share Their Experiences
Excited visitors flocked to Ain Dubai after the reopening. One tourist expressed his joy, saying, “It was a very good experience. Today is our last day in Dubai, and we’re glad we got to try this.”
