Sharjah Police has inaugurated the “Police Desert Park” in Al Kahif, Al Batayeh. This unique park is a safe and engaging destination. It blends entertainment with community education to strengthen ties and foster positive communication between the police and the community.
Brigadier General Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, Director General of Resources and Support Services, emphasized its importance. He noted that the Police Desert Park is one of Sharjah Police’s key annual initiatives. The park caters to officers, their families, and the public, ensuring inclusivity. It reflects a commitment to providing innovative initiatives that elevate community services and meet public expectations.

“The park is more than just a recreational space,” said Brigadier General Abdullah. “It offers a creative platform for promoting security awareness in an inviting environment. This enhances quality of life and builds trust with the community. We invite everyone to visit the park, open from 4 PM to 11 PM throughout the week, to enjoy its diverse activities and winter desert ambiance.”
The park features various facilities designed for all age groups. It includes designated play areas, family zones, and a theatre for events. Visitors can explore sections with a heritage theme, such as the heritage village and the entertainment village. Additionally, there are sand playgrounds and dining options, including barbecue areas. The prayer hall, built with recycled materials, accommodates up to 100 people and features a historical design that blends tradition with sustainability.
