The first UAE Lottery draw on Saturday evening brought excitement, with over 29,000 winners announced. However, the grand Dh100 million prize and the second Dh1 million prize went unclaimed.
In this inaugural event, four participants matched more than five numbers and secured Dh100,000 each. Moreover, 211 individuals won Dh1,000, while an impressive 28,858 participants claimed Dh100.
Thousands tuned in to watch the live draw on YouTube, which began at 8:30 PM. The winning combination, drawn by the gravity pick machine, was 26, 19, 9, 11, 18, 17, and 7. The hosts, Diala Makki and Chadi Khalaf, explained the draw process and rules in both English and Arabic.
As the event progressed, seven “Lucky Chance IDs” were drawn, each guaranteeing Dh100,000 for their holders. The winning IDs included CP6638485, CQ6766870, DU9775445, DJ8619319, DC7978145, CO6505342, and CS6983220.
The livestream’s comment section buzzed with activity, filled with humor, encouragement, and excitement. While some shared hope for future draws, others celebrated small victories like winning Dh100.
Participants can win Dh100 by matching one number in the “Months” section and up to three numbers in the “Days” section. Matching more numbers increases the prize amount, with the jackpot set at Dh100 million.
The UAE launched its first regulated lottery last month, bringing opportunities for life-changing prizes and smaller rewards.
Dubai resident Anila Saigal expressed her excitement despite not winning this time. “A friend sent me the numbers, but I didn’t win. However, it gives me hope for next time,” she said.
Anila, a regular lottery participant, remains optimistic. “Winning would change my life completely. It would secure my retirement and fund my daughter’s education,” she explained.
The next draw will take place on December 28, and tickets are already available online for Dh50. Participants must be at least 18 years old and present in the UAE.
For additional chances to win, scratch cards priced between Dh5 and Dh50 are also available. These cards offer prizes ranging from Dh50,000 to Dh1 million.
