Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed inaugurated the third Global Media Congress. The event, organized by ADNEC Group in partnership with Emirates News Agency (WAM), runs at the ADNEC Centre until November 28, 2024.
Global Media Congress Opening
The ceremony began with the UAE national anthem and a presentation on the country’s media evolution. Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, delivered the keynote address. A panel discussion featuring global media ministers explored current trends and challenges in the media landscape.

Sheikh Theyab toured the exhibition, exploring innovations showcased by national, Gulf, and international platforms. Exhibitors highlighted advancements in media production, focusing on AI and advanced technologies in content creation.
He also visited the UAE Media Pavilion, which featured the National Media Office, UAE Media Council, and WAM. The pavilion showcased the UAE’s media achievements and its efforts to share cultural, developmental, and humanitarian messages globally.

Sheikh Theyab praised the UAE media sector for its significant contributions to the country’s global leadership.
“Under Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s guidance, the UAE has become a global hub for creative and inclusive media dialogue,” he said.
He emphasized media’s role in shaping the future and promoting sustainability while staying rooted in the UAE’s values.
