Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, expressed the UAE’s commitment to assisting Pakistan in tackling its smog crisis by sharing artificial rain technology.
In an interview with Pakistan Television (PTV), Al-Zaabi highlighted the UAE’s readiness to collaborate on environmental initiatives, noting that this technological partnership could play a crucial role in addressing air pollution challenges.
“The use of artificial rain is an innovative approach that can significantly aid in the fight against smog, ensuring cleaner air for affected communities,” Al-Zaabi said. He further emphasized, “The UAE, building on its history of successful environmental interventions, is once again offering Pakistan the opportunity to use our advanced artificial rain technology.”
The ambassador recalled past joint efforts where UAE-deployed helicopters equipped with artificial rain technology were used to mitigate smog in Pakistan.
“This year, we renew our commitment to stand by our brotherly nation in combating this urgent environmental issue. We look forward to partnering with Pakistani authorities to bring relief through this cutting-edge solution,” he concluded.
