Weather alert: UAE to experience fog, mist, and humid weather

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Saturday issued a yellow alert due to the possibility of fog developing and reduced horizontal visibility.

The alert will be in effect from 2am to 9am on September 14. Visibility may further decrease intermittently in certain coastal and inland regions.

As per the weather department’s prediction, today will see fair to partly cloudy weather conditions.

There will be a decrease in temperatures, especially in the northern regions. Clouds are going to form in the east, and they could become convective in the afternoon.

In Abu Dhabi, temperatures will vary from 30°C to 42°C, while in Dubai they will range from 29°C to 42°C. There is a chance of fog or mist forming over certain coastal areas during the night and Sunday morning when the weather will be humid.

During the daytime, there will be light to moderate winds that may occasionally become stronger, resulting in dust blowing. There will be calm seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
