The National Centre of Meteorology on Friday forecasted that the day will have a mix of fair and partly cloudy conditions.

There will be light to moderate winds during the day, increasing occasionally and leading to the blowing of dust. Some Western areas may experience fog or mist formation at some point.

The UAE’s Meteorological Department has issued alerts for red and yellow fog. A statement mentioned a “fog formation causing reduced horizontal visibility.”

The country may experience temperatures reaching up to 46ºC. The temperature in Abu Dhabi is expected to increase to 44ºC while Dubai will reach 42ºC.

Nevertheless, Abu Dhabi could experience temperatures as low as 28ºC, while Dubai could see 29ºC and internal areas may reach 24ºC.

There is a possibility of fog or mist developing over certain coastal and Western regions during the night and early Saturday morning, with high humidity. Abu Dhabi will experience humidity levels between 20 to 90 per cent, while Dubai will have levels ranging from 15 to 80 per cent.

Weather conditions will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman sea.
