Visit Sharjah Rain Room: Tickets, Prices, and Essential Information

The Sharjah Rain Room allows visitors to walk through a rain shower without getting wet, but instead feeling the sensation of a downpour.

Schedules

According to the official website, the Sharjah Rain Room is open from 9am to 9pm from Saturday to Thursday and operates from 4pm to 10pm on Friday.

Ticket prices

Different ticket options are offered for adults, children, students, and teachers. Admission is free for individuals with disabilities (PoD) who are accompanied by one person.

  • Cost for adults is 25 dirhams.
  • Kids (up to 5 years old) don’t have to pay.
  • Student (under 22 years old, must show ID): Dh15
  • Educators (ID needed): Dh15
  • Individuals with disabilities (PoD) and one accompanying person: No charge.

How to purchase tickets online

To escape the weekend crowds, get your tickets in advance on the Sharjah Art Foundation’s official website. Follow these instructions:

  • Check out Sharjah Rain Room Tickets.
  • Click ‘Get Ticket’ and select your favourite day and time frame.
  • Choose a ticket type (adult, student, instructor, etc.).
  • Please enter your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Go to the payment page to complete your reservation.

Important factors to keep in mind prior to your departure

  • A maximum of seven individuals can enter the facility simultaneously.
  • It is recommended for guests to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled time slot.
  • Every time interval is 10-15 minutes long.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue.
  • Guests are advised to refrain from wearing pointed high-heeled shoes when entering the exhibit.
  • Children must be closely monitored by their parents or guardian while entering the facility.
  • No umbrellas or rain gear of any kind are permitted at the venue.
  • Professional photography is not permitted at the venue unless approved by the Sharjah Art Foundation in advance.

The Sharjah Rain Room is located just 10 kilometers from Sahara Centre and can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car.
