This unique programme is a tripartite cooperation between AUS, Sheraa, and National Network Communications (NNC) and is the first of its kind in the UAE and the region to help students transform innovative concepts into reality.
This agency is intended to help students studying media communications, get professional guidance and practical exposure in advertising, public relations, marketing, and communications. It functions as a training process preparing students as industry professionals, as well as providing the skills necessary for employment in the marketplace.
When launching the agency, Sheikha Bodour noted that the institution provides a platform for cultivating talent and said that ‘the energy of students fuels our efforts every day and through this agency, we are determined to help them grow and turn their ideas into a reality. The future is bright because the future is them.
Sheraa also stressed their continued collaboration with AUS in specific programs, including DOJO+, a four-week mentorship and a highly targeted boot camp for Sheraa’s Startup Dojo program’s top performers.
The MCM Student-Run Agency aims to establish a direct connection between academic curriculum and practical experience, helping to develop home-grown talent that will play the role in Sharjah’s development and contribute to the UAE’s strategy for the diversification of its economy.
With the support from the modern technology, the experience of NNC Group, and the mentoring from Sheraa, the agency provides the clients with the professional services, such as media relation, creating the original content, social media, and growth marketing. Some of these students are allowed to work in different departments as this help in training them for better future jobs.
