The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued an orange alert for winds up to 40kmph and “rough to very rough sea at times” in the Oman sea, with wave height up to 11 ft.
The winds will come from the southeast. The alert will remain in effect until 12pm on Monday, September 2nd.
A yellow alert for wind and rough sea was also declared from 4.15 am to 12pm on Monday.
The forecast predicts fair to partly cloudy weather. Clouds are expected to be seen in the east and south during the afternoon.
Some coastal and internal areas will experience humid weather during the night and Tuesday morning. Light to moderate winds, occasionally increasing in strength, will result in daytime dust blowing.
As per today’s weather prediction, the sea in Oman Sea is expected to change to moderate by afternoon, while it will be occasionally slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf.
