3,000 people convert to Islam in 6 months

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture in Dubai, affiliated with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, has made impressive records for the first half of 2024, having more than 3,000 people converting to Islam.

This increased population signifies a general interest in the religion and success of the center in introducing people to the religion.

Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khateeb, Executive Director of the Islamic Affairs Sector was delighted with this success and said, “The fact that over 3000 people have converted to Islam is a testimony to the dedication of this organization and its mission in promoting the message of tolerance and understanding inherent in our noble religion.”

Then, Dr. Al Khateeb underlined the center’s commitment to developing educational initiatives that would help newly converted women feel more confident.

These objectives cover efforts to educate the world about the true values of Islam and help the converts to assimilate into the community by providing requirements of the new affiliations.

Some of the current and ongoing activities that the center is engaged in are the regular events and activities meant to address religious literacy and fosters interactive spiritual practices within the society.

This is in accordance with the spirit of tolerance and acceptance of culture differences which is in line with the vision of the emirate of Dubai, this showed Dubai’s constant effort of embracing diversity within it societies.
