Are you working in Abu Dhabi now and looking to relocate your family here? Residents in the UAE have the ability to sponsor the residency permits of their family members.

Important Points to Note
Passport Validity: Passport must be valid for a minimum of six months when requesting an entry permit. The ICP might also ask for evidence of relation and extra paperwork, like a financial assurance.
Residence Visa: The sponsored individual is not required to be present in the UAE during the issuance of the residence visa. Upon arrival in the UAE with an entry permit, the person is allowed to remain for 60 days until the residency visa is obtained.
Minimum age for spouses: A husband cannot sponsor a wife who is under 18 years old.
Marriage Certification: To sponsor a spouse, you need a marriage certificate that is verified by the UAE Embassy or the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Evidence of Relationship: Documentation, such as a birth certificate or marriage contract, is required to establish the relationship between the sponsor and the sponsored individual.
Translation of Documents: When a document is issued by a foreign organization, it needs to be translated into Arabic and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.
No Objection Certificate: In cases where the husband’s name is on the rental contract and the wife is the sponsor, a certificate from the husband stating no objection must be provided.
