Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has started its yearly ‘Back to School’ initiative to assist disadvantaged students at the start of the new academic year.
This project, spearheaded by Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, a board member of SCI, aims to relieve the financial burden on disadvantaged families by offering necessary school supplies.
As a component of the initiative, SCI plans to give out 6,500 school bags filled with essential supplies to children coming from disadvantaged families. Al Suwaidi highlighted the significance of this initiative in tackling the issues faced by parents who find it challenging to cover the expenses of school supplies annually.
He emphasized that this initiative is an important component of SCI’s wider educational aid initiatives, offering continuous help with school costs for families enduring financial challenges. In the past eight years, SCI has effectively provided 53,000 students in need with school bags.
Al Suwaidi also urged donors to support these efforts, emphasizing that the generosity of individuals and organizations is crucial for the success of these projects.
