Dubai is poised to host an opulent celebration in commemoration of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day on August 11, 2024.
This event, anticipated to attract a multitude of approximately 10,000 attendees, will unfold at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It promises to feature a captivating spectrum of cultural performances, musical ensembles, and traditional activities that exude the vibrant essence of Pakistan’s heritage and the significant contributions of its community to the UAE.
The prestigious event will be graced by the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, alongside Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE, among other distinguished diplomats and notable personalities from the Pakistani diaspora.
The initiative, coordinated by the “Emirates Loves Pakistan” page in a partnership with the Pakistan Association Dubai, Dubai Police, and Dubai World Trade Centre, serves as a testament to the profound bond between the UAE and Pakistan.
This enduring connection, fostered by the visionary leadership of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1971, continues to flourish through strategic alliances and expanding economic partnerships.
The UAE maintains its position as Pakistan’s principal trading partner and leading investor, recently pledging $10 billion to a wide array of promising sectors within Pakistan.
The occasion is not merely a celebration of Pakistan’s independence but also a spotlight on the UAE’s dedication to nurturing international cooperation and fostering an environment where diverse cultures can exist in peaceful harmony.
