The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially distributed the schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 to all cricket boards and broadcasters.
Sources indicate that a budget of approximately $70 million has been allocated for the event.
The tournament is set to commence on February 19 and conclude on March 9, with a reserve day for the final scheduled for March 10. Warm-up matches are planned from February 12 to 18.
Proposals include hosting the opening ceremony in Karachi and the closing ceremony in Lahore. These plans will be finalized after the ICC consults with all cricket boards.
According to sources, the ICC has shared detailed schedules, including match dates, warm-up games, and other activities, with team boards and broadcasters. The final decision on all proposed activities will be made in coordination with the ICC and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
During the ICC’s annual meeting, the budget was approved, encompassing all expenses for the sports parade and related events. The period from February 12 to 18 has been designated for training sessions, warm-up matches, media activities, and promotional events. The tournament will run from February 19 to March 9, with the final’s reserve day set for March 10.
