Dubai Airports launches 24/7 baggage service centre

Dubai Airport has launched a new baggage service centre at Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport (DXB).

This facility offers integrated services for left luggage and mishandled baggage, providing a convenient, one-stop solution for all baggage-related needs.

The new Baggage Service Centre operates around the clock, allowing passengers to store and retrieve their luggage at any time. Strategically located, the centre connects public areas with secured sections of the terminal, enabling easy baggage collection without the need for additional security checks. This setup aims to improve operational efficiency and reduce wait times for travelers.

Dubai Airports highlighted that the launch of this service is a result of strong collaboration with key partners, including Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, and dnata. The partnership aims to streamline baggage handling processes and enhance the overall passenger experience.

Just last week, check-ins at Terminal 2 were briefly suspended due to a minor fire incident on Saturday night. The airport’s fire services swiftly controlled the situation, and check-ins have since returned to normal, as confirmed by DXB on their official social media page.

With the new Baggage Service Centre now fully operational, passengers at Terminal 2 can enjoy seamless and efficient baggage handling, ensuring a smoother travel experience at Dubai International Airport.
