The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced the updated petrol and diesel prices for August 2024, which will come into effect on August 1.
The new prices reflect a slight increase from the previous month.
All fuel types will see an increase in price. Super 98 petrol will now cost Dh3.05 per litre, up from Dh2.99 in July. Special 95 petrol will rise to Dh2.93 per litre from Dh2.88, while E-Plus 91 petrol will be priced at Dh2.86 per litre, an increase from Dh2.80. Diesel will also see a price hike, going from Dh2.89 to Dh2.95 per litre.
The increase in fuel prices comes as a result of rising global oil prices. This latest adjustment will impact the budgets of both individuals and businesses across the UAE.
