The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a yellow alert for rough seas and fresh winds, with speeds reaching up to 40 km/h in a northwesterly direction.
The alert, which began yesterday at 7am, has been extended until 7pm today. A yellow alert advises caution for those planning outdoor activities.
The Arabian Gulf is experiencing rough seas, with wave heights reaching up to 7 feet offshore. Meanwhile, the Oman Sea will see slight sea conditions.
Today’s weather will be mostly fair to partly cloudy, with clouds forming over the mountains in the afternoon. Winds will occasionally freshen, causing dust to blow in certain areas.
Temperatures in Abu Dhabi will range from 31°C to 41°C, while in Dubai, they will vary between 31°C and 40°C. Humidity levels are expected to drop as low as 10 percent in the internal regions and mountains, while coastal areas and islands may see humidity rise to 80 percent.
