Sharjah ruler approves Dh21 million compensation for Khor Fakkan residents

In a generous gesture, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a substantial compensation package of Dh21 million for property owners in Khor Fakkan.

These residents have been impacted by the ongoing restoration project of the historic Al Mansour Archaeological Fort in the eastern district.

A total of 29 individuals will directly benefit from this financial aid, with the distribution process set to commence shortly.

The announcement was made during the popular ‘Direct Line’ program broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television.

This act of benevolence follows a similar gesture by the Ruler earlier this month, where Dh20 million was allocated as compensation for property owners in Kalba due to an expansion project.

Furthermore, in April, over Dh15 million was disbursed to residents whose homes were damaged by severe rainfall.

Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi’s continuous support for his people is evident through these initiatives, demonstrating his commitment to the well-being and prosperity of the emirate’s citizens.
