Truck drivers who frequently travel to and from the UAE can now apply for multiple-entry visas, allowing them to stay for 30, 60, or 90 days.
The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has outlined the process and requirements for obtaining these visas.
Steps to Apply for a Multiple-Entry Visa
Truck drivers can complete the application process online through the ICP website or mobile app, or in person at a customer happiness center or typing center.
Online Application
- Open the ICP website or app.
- Navigate to ‘public services’ and select the ‘truck drivers’ section.
- Sign in with your account or via UAE Pass.
- Choose the visa duration and click ‘start service.’
- Fill out the application and pay the required fees.
In-Person Application
- Visit the nearest customer happiness center or accredited typing center.
- Submit the application and required documents to the employee.
- Pay the fees.
Required Documents
- Health insurance covering the period of stay
- Passport copy of the applicant
- Colored photo
- Copy of truck ownership
- Optional: Iranian Censenamah/ID card, Afghan ID card, Iraqi Population card, Pakistani ID card, written approval from the driver’s sponsor, certified copy of power of attorney if the truck does not belong to the same sponsor

- Issuance fee: Dh200 (30-day visa), Dh400 (60-day visa), Dh600 (90-day visa)
- Security deposit fee: Dh2,025
- E-service fee: Dh28
- ICP fee: Dh22
- Smart service fee: Dh100
- Visa insurance fee: Dh60 (30-day visa), Dh80 (60-day visa), Dh100 (90-day visa)
This new multiple-entry visa option provides a more convenient and efficient way for truck drivers to manage their frequent travel needs, enhancing the ease of transportation and logistics operations in and out of the UAE.
