Who is the better PCB Chairman: Ramiz Raja or Mohsin Naqvi? Mirza Iqbal Baig reveals

Renowned sports journalist Mirza Iqbal Baig shares his insights on the better Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman between Ramiz Raja and Mohsin Naqvi.

Mirza Iqbal Baig recently appeared on Geo News’ popular comedy show “Hansna Mana Hai.”

During the show, Mirza Iqbal Baig, often referred to as an encyclopedia, answered numerous questions posed by the host Tabish Hashmi, and the audience.

During the interview, show anchor Tabish Hashmi asked sports journalist Mirza Iqbal Baig to compare the recent and former chairmen of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The host, Tabish Hashmi, inquired who was the better PCB chairman between Ramiz Raja and Mohsin Naqvi.

In response, Mirza Iqbal Baig stated that Ramiz Raja was a better chairman than Mohsin Naqvi because he was a player himself and had knowledge of cricket. Ramiz Raja knew the insight of the game and had in-depth knowledge about the strengths and weaknesses of the players.

On the other hand, Mohsin Naqvi being a media man and a rookie politician consults players and sports journalists to get first-hand knowledge about cricket and the players of the cricket team.

Mirza Iqbal Baig also mentioned that Ramiz Raja was unfortunate to have served as chairman for only a year and a half. Although he made some mistakes, he proved to be a better chairman than Mohsin Naqvi.

Mirza Iqbal Baig also revealed that the national team captain Babar Azam is the cousin of Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal. Babar Azam’s father, Azam Siddiqui, is the elder brother of Akmal Siddiqui.

Mirza Iqbal Baig mentioned that he greatly enjoyed interviewing Shaheen Shah Afridi, describing him as a very humble player.
