A feud between renowned writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and actor Nauman Ijaz has reignited on social media, with both men trading barbs in separate interviews.
It all started with a recent interview where Qamar openly declared his intense dislike for Ijaz.
When asked by the host if there was anyone he truly despised, Qamar did not hesitate to name Ijaz, stating, “There is only one person in the whole world whom I really hate, and that is Nauman Ijaz.”
While acknowledging the Sang-e-Mar Mar actor’s talent, Qamar vehemently criticised his character, using harsh terms like “despicable person” and “despicable man.”
This comment sparked a social media frenzy, and netizens dug up an old interview (June 2021) featuring the Parizaad actor himself.
In the resurfaced video, the actor seems to reciprocate the animosity.
When asked about Qamar, he referred to him as a “mental patient” and even claimed it was a “mistake” to have discovered him as a writer. The video also shows the host and another guest seemingly agreeing with Nauman Ijaz’s remarks, adding fuel to the fire.
The reasons behind this long-standing animosity remain unclear, but this public exchange of insults has certainly grabbed the attention of Pakistani entertainment fans.
With both Qamar and Ijaz being prominent figures in the industry, it’s likely this war of words will continue to play out online and potentially impact future collaborations.
