Sharjah’s mega summer sale returns with discounts up to 75%

Sharjah’s highly anticipated mega summer sale is set to return on July 1, offering shoppers incredible bargains, freebies, and raffle prizes totaling Dh3 million.

The Sharjah Summer Promotions 2024, rebranded with a new identity, aims to position the emirate as a leading shopping destination in the Gulf region.

This year’s event, in collaboration with Sharjah Tourism, targets visitors from across the GCC. Discounts ranging from 25% to 75% will be available in all participating malls throughout the campaign. According to Aisha Saleh, spokesperson for Sharjah Summer Promotions 2024, “In the last two weeks of the campaign, from August 19 to September 1, shoppers can enjoy a flat 80% discount on most of their favorite brands as part of a back-to-school campaign.”

In addition to massive discounts, students will receive school bags and stationery during the final weeks of the campaign. Running from July 1 until September 1, the promotion will feature raffle draws every 20 days. Shoppers who spend at least Dh200 will be eligible to enter these draws, with over 100 lucky winners receiving prizes such as gold bars, shopping vouchers, and cars, collectively worth more than Dh3 million.

“The promotion will involve eight shopping malls and 16 hotels across Sharjah, offering a comprehensive shopping and hospitality experience for all visitors,” Saleh stated. Additionally, more than 70 activities will be organized in collaboration with various government and private institutions in Sharjah. All activities, offers, and draw results will be available on the official website, shjsummer.ae.

Aisha Saleh expressed optimism about the event’s impact, saying, “We are hoping to see a significant increase in sales across retail stores and the hospitality sector, and we anticipate more tourists visiting Sharjah.”
